Best Books For Scrum Master Certification

Scrum certifications are becoming more popular as companies move from traditional waterfall styles of project management to the more adaptive and iterative agile and scrum frameworks. If you are looking to become scrum certified, Scrum.org and scrumalliance.org are the two governing bodies that you should investigate further. I’ve covered these in more detail in these two blogs “How To Pass The Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) Exam” and “How To Pass The Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO I) Exam.”

If you choose to study for the exams you will need the right material to prepare you for the exams. As there have been dozens of books written about scrum since its inception, it can be difficult to determine which ones will help you pass your scrum exams as quickly and easily as possible. Below is a list of books that have been recommended by scrum.org along with their blurbs. In addition, I’ve included four books, at the very end, I used for my exam preparation. David Starr and Ralph Jocham, Professional Scrum trainers and early agile adopters, say that this is the ultimate book to be advised as a follow-up book to the students they teach Scrum to and to teams and managers of organizations that they coach Scrum to.

In today’s fast-paced, fiercely competitive world of commercial new product development, speed and flexibility are essential.  In  January 1993, a gunman murdered seven people in a fast-food restaurant in Palatine, a suburb of Chicago.
